CANDIDATE SPOTLIGHT: For the first time in recent years, we are excited to run a slate of local elected officials for seats on the Board of County Commissioners!

Meet our candidates: Jonathan Sackett, Rockaway Councilman and former Council President; Justin Strickland, Chatham Borough Councilman; and Bud Ravitz, Morris Township Committeeman and former Deputy Mayor! 

They know the issues impacting Morris County residents on a daily basis — overdevelopment, flooding, traffic, and senior services, to name a few. They have fought in their towns and will take their energy and ideas to make Morris County a better place to live, raise a family and retire! 

After more than five decades of Republican rule, it's time for new voices!

These new awards will honor retired Morris Township Mayor Cathy Wilson and the late Boonton Councilwoman Dr. Edina Renfro-Michel and Morristown Council President Sandi Mayer, who both passed away recently, far too young.

We will toast to our award recipients and officially kickoff campaigns to break the GOP stronghold on our county government!

We celebrated Mother's Day Weekend with an inspiring Day of Action! We heard from Democratic leaders Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill; Sue Altman who is challenging Rep. Tom Kean, Jr., Chairwoman Amalia Duarte and Randolph Township Committee candidate Dr. Jon Torres! A perfect way to highlight that Democrats are the Party strongly supporting women’s equality and right to choose!
