John,
Standing with labor isn’t just a slogan for me — it’s a deeply ingrained value that has shaped my life and career.
Raised by a single father, I spent much of my childhood after school at the city hall and fire hall where he worked, watching firefighters and public servants work tirelessly to help our community.
As Commissioner of Public Lands, I've made it my mission to honor these principles and fight every day for the rights of workers across our state – from boosting apprenticeship programs, to requiring Project Labor Agreements on clean energy projects for the first time ever, to standing with workers by securing Peace Labor Clauses at their request.
That dedication has led local unions from every corner of the district to stand with me in the race to serve as our next member of Congress. I’m so honored to have more labor endorsements than any non-incumbent congressional candidate in the entire country. In Congress, I will work every day to pass the PRO Act and level the playing field for all workers.
But endorsements alone won't win this race. We need the support of grassroots donors like you to keep our momentum going strong.
With our mid-quarter FEC goal approaching, I'm reaching out to ask for your help. Can you contribute just $5 today to help us reach our $50,000 mid-quarter fundraising goal?
