John, 27 states. That’s how many states enacted laws between 2020 and 2024 that have made it harder to vote, according to the Brennan Center. And those laws will almost certainly be on the books as folks head to the ballot box this November. MAGA Republicans are running on such an extreme, unpopular agenda that they need to restrict voting rights and manipulate maps in their favor in order to win — and that’s exactly what they’re doing.
