John,
Last night, AIPAC won a contested open primary for Congress in Maryland’s 3rd District — their biggest primary victory to date this cycle.
With barely more than one-third of the vote in a crowded field, AIPAC-backed State Senator Sarah Elfreth was able to top 21 other candidates.
We know what’s coming next.
AIPAC is setting their sights on Jamaal Bowman — and news just broke this morning that their first $1.9 ad buy in NY-16 will be going up TOMORROW.1 This is just the start of a reported $20 million they plan to spend in this race alone.
Jamaal is AIPAC’s #1 target this cycle — and with ads helping his opponent going on the air 6 weeks before the primary, we need to double down on our voter outreach plans now.
We’ve proven that we can beat AIPAC’s hand-chosen candidates before — but only when we have the resources we need to mobilize and persuade voters. Please split a donation today between Jamaal Bowman’s campaign and WFP today so we can fully fund our efforts to combat their mountains of cash by knocking on as many doors and making as many calls and texts as possible.

While last night was a win for AIPAC’s Republican megadonors and their divide-and-conquer strategy in Democratic primaries, overall their record in 2024 so far has been one of failure:
- They lost their first Congressional primary in California’s 47th district in March, despite spending over $5 million in the race to replace Rep. Katie Porter,
- They failed to defeat WFP champion Rep. Summer Lee, who won a landslide 20-point primary victory in Pennsylvania’s 12th district in April,
- And Rep. David Trone — one of the most prominent AIPAC donors in Congress — lost his primary for Governor in Maryland by double digits last night despite self-funding his campaign to the tune of over $60 million.
Only a few months ago, AIPAC made it clear that their plan for 2024 was to spend up to $100 million to unseat the Squad from Congress.
They wanted to divide us in the spring and summer and weaken our movement going into the fall, all so that they could return full control of Congress and the White House back to MAGA Republicans in November.
They’re failing. And we need to make sure they continue to fail by fending off their attacks and reaching as many voters as possible with our message.
So please, if you’re in a position to chip in at this time, split a donation with Jamaal Bowman and WFP. The election is just around the corner, and we need to put everything we’ve got into having his back and keeping all of our Congressional champions in office.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
