I don’t like to reach out too much to talk about fundraising deadlines, so when I do I hope you know it’s important.

Today is the half-way point of May, and my team tells me that, based on their math, we’re currently not on track to hit our goal at the end of the month.

We’ve been able to accomplish so much — including winning two tough Senate races — thanks to this incredible grassroots team.

I truly believe that together, there’s nothing we can’t do.

So, I told my team I would reach out to you today, because I trust that supporters like you, John, will step up and help us get back on the path to smashing our fundraising goals before May 31st.

And really we only need a small group of people to step up today — less than 1% of the folks reading this email right now.
