Dear John,
Join VoteRiders as we wish Freedom Rider Diane Nash a very happy 86th birthday!

Diane Nash is a civil rights icon. She co-founded the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and led the effort to integrate lunch counters in Nashville, Tennessee.
Among her many accomplishments, Nash led the Freedom Rides in the summer of 1961, designed to challenge segregation on interstate buses. Even when faced with violence and threats, Nash was adamant that the fight for freedom was too important to stop challenging the status quo.
Join us in wishing this American hero a happy 86th birthday! >> [link removed]
Without Diane Nash’s brilliance, bravery, and strategy, the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act may never have become law. Now, as new threats emerge to our voting rights and democracy, we must all carry on her legacy.
VoteRiders was named in honor of the Freedom Riders, who risked so much in the name of civil rights, voting rights, and dignity for Black Americans. We are honored to continue the work of ensuring every eligible voter is able to make their voice heard at the ballot box, and we appreciate having your support for this important work.
Sincerely,
Lauren Kunis
CEO and Executive Director
