Friend, Thank you for your support and participation in yesterday's primary election. We have some exciting results to share with you and will be discussing them tonight.
- Angela Alsobrooks will be the Democratic candidate for the Maryland Senate race in November, having won the primary with 54% of the vote so far.

In Baltimore, all of our endorsed candidates made it through the primary. Brandon Scott won the primary for Mayor of Baltimore with 51% of the votes counted so far. Mark Parker, Paris Gray, and Jermaine Jones have all advanced in their respective city council races, and they are well-positioned for the general election in November.

In Prince George's County, Tiffany Andorful has won the primary for School Board Candidate in District 1 with 46% of the vote. Phelton Moss and Zakyia Goins-McCants have also made it through the primary for School Board District 7 and District 8, respectively.
Now that the ballots have been cast and the results are in, it's time to analyze what they mean for our progressive movement in Maryland.
