Fellow Republicans,
This year at the State Convention, whether held as planned, May 16th, or delayed, the delegates will approve a revised Platform and consider resolutions stating Hawaii Republicans’ views for communication to government officials and the public.
Your elected representatives on the Platform Committee* seek your views. Please send platform comments or proposed resolutions to the committee Chair, Boyd Ready, [email protected], or to [email protected], for the Committee’s consideration.
Comments on Platform will be reviewed through May 2nd. You can view current platform at https://www.gophawaii.com/platform/
Any Republican may also submit a Resolution idea or rough draft by April 17th. Resolutions offered fully worked out and in good form will be considered if received by May 6th. Note that Ceremonial or honorary resolutions are also customary – for special people or groups.
For a look at recent resolutions and their formats, see ‘downloads,’ last section, on menu at gophawaii.com, link address: https://www.gophawaii.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/2018-PLATFORM-FINAL.pdf
