The 6th District was once a toss-up, and will be again if my opponent is the Democratic nominee. We’ve not only made it solidly blue, but we’ve made it a powerhouse for Democratic organizing. Since 2018, we’ve helped elect 30+ service-focused leaders from all over the country to Congress, and we’re bringing more veterans into Democratic politics here in Massachusetts.

Under Democratic leadership, the last Congress was the most productive session since LBJ. We passed the CHIPS and Science Act, which invests in domestic semiconductor manufacturing, science, and technology… the first gun-safety bill since the Clinton Administration… the PACT Act which will help countless veterans who were exposed to toxic chemicals while serving… and the Inflation Reduction Act, a historic investment in combating climate change.

We’ve expanded healthcare coverage, lowered unemployment, and invested in rebuilding America’s infrastructure.

My opponent could undo all of that progress.

I don’t think you need me to remind you that things have gone from bad to worse with the GOP in charge of the House. This is what happens when we lack principled leaders in Washington.

If Trump and his MAGA movement are successful in November, they’ll go after reproductive rights, civil rights, and our very democracy.

We aren’t going to defeat the MAGA movement with more yelling on Twitter. We’ll do it by putting people over politics and keeping leaders in Washington who are willing to make the hard choices to deliver for Americans.
