This year, the fate of the Senate is going to be decided by just a few
races in some key states. We’ve just heard from the Democratic voters of
Maryland who have officially nominated their candidate for the U.S.
Senate.

Congratulations to Angela Alsobrooks on winning the Maryland primary!

I am confident that Angela will be elected to the Senate in November, but
we’ve still got one more hurdle to make that goal a reality. Angela is
going to need our support to make it across the finish line.

There’s a lot on the line in Maryland. Not only will this race help decide
the majority in the Senate, Angela is going to face off against the GOP’s
candidate – Larry Hogan.

Larry and his friends at the GOP want to turn back the clock in some major
ways — starting with a federal abortion ban. Let’s not forget: Hogan is
the same person who vetoed a bill to expand abortion access in 2022.

And it’s a dark thought, but if a Hogan win gave Republicans control of
the Senate, we would see all of our hard fought wins rolled back
one-by-one at the expense of everyday Americans.
