New MPDI Collection

Per Section 217a(3) of the State School Aid Act and in partnership with the State Budget Office, accountability reporting for community colleges has been streamlined with the Michigan Postsecondary Data Inventory. To reduce reporting burdens on stakeholders, the following annual reports will be certified in MPDI beginning with the 2023-24 collection cycle:

*Section Number* *Report* *Deadline* 217a (4) Public Transparency Website? Nov. 1, 2024 217a (5)? Campus Safety Website? Nov. 1, 2024 217a (6) & 217a (7)? Title IX? Nov. 1, 2024 217b? Tuition Restraint? Aug. 31, 2024 230(2) & 230(3)? Local Strategic Value? Oct 15, 2024

Key Changes:

* These annual reports will be individual modules under the new Annual Reporting Requirements Collection in MPDI.
* A President?s signature is no longer required. MPDI Data Coordinators will certify requirements on behalf of their respective colleges.
* Tuition Restraint has been moved to this collection.
* Title IX and Local Strategic Value modules will allow for single file uploads.
* CEPI will provide proof of certification and copies of file uploads to the State Budget Office.

Due to varying internal processes, MPDI Data Coordinators should ensure that all college personnel previously involved in the submission and certification of these reports are aware of these changes and coordinate to ensure timely certification in MPDI. Additionally, MPDI Data Coordinators will need to resubmit a MPDI Security Form [ [link removed] ] to ensure they have proper access to the new collection. If needed, colleges may appoint additional data coordinators.

For more information, refer to the 2023-24 MPDI Data Manual and other guidance as they become available on the MPDI web page [ [link removed] ]. For immediate questions or concerns, contact CEPI Customer Support at [email protected].
