The Town of Sinclair, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:00 p.m. local time on May 30, 2024, in the council chambers at Sinclair Town Hall located at 300 Lincoln Avenue. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project.
The Town of Sinclair 2025 Water and Sewer Improvements Project will include rehabilitation and replacement of existing sewer collection and water distribution facilities within the Town of Sinclair. The scope of work will include rehabilitation and/or replacement of three blocks of existing damaged and deteriorated vitrified clay pipe sewer main. The project will also include removal and replacement of three blocks of existing cast iron watermain in the same vicinity. Additionally, the project will include replacement of deteriorated concrete curb and asphalt pavement within the project area. The project is necessary to reduce ongoing operating and maintenance costs and to mitigate inflow, infiltration, and cross-contamination risks.
At the meeting, the Town of Sinclair will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Sinclair Town Hall located at 300 Lincoln Avenue, Sinclair, WY. Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Sinclair plans to borrow $1,000,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments with 50% Principal Forgiveness. User rate fees will not be increased as a result of this project. Loan terms will be 1.5% interest rate and the term of the loan will be 20 years.
