Dear Colleague,
As EU development ministers met in virtual, emergency session this week to hammer out a COVID-19 aid response package, prestigious children’s charities apparently urged them to include sexual and reproductive health and rights as life-saving aid. The Friday Fax learned that one Christian organization worked to remove explicit reference to "abortion" in the recommendations.
The UN Population Fund released a report that inserts abortion into the UN Sustainable Development Goals, despite the fact that nations utterly rejected it when they negotiated the goals.
We wish you a blessed rest of your Holy Week and Easter.
Stay well. Spread the word.
Yours sincerely,
Susan Yoshihara, Ph.D.
