Friend — Yesterday my team reached out to let you know about our new FEC mid-month goal. We were looking for 250 people to make a contribution before midnight tonight.

A lot of amazing supporters stepped up yesterday, but we still have a ways to go to close the gap.

Listen, Steve, I’m not running for Congress because I love to send fundraising emails, or because I love FEC deadlines.

I’m running for Congress because I want to protect our democracy from Trump and the far-right. Because I want to restore the right and access to abortion across this nation. Because I want to continue to make progress on climate change.

But raising money is absolutely necessary for us to win this race and work on all of those important issues. That’s just the reality of a campaign like ours.

So if you want to make sure we have the resources we need to beat the GOP and take back the House, please, make a contribution of anything you can afford today. We only need around 90 more people to do their part before midnight.
