This Father’s Day, we're bringing our successful Fatherhood Impact Award back for its second year in a row! The fatherless home crisis is pronounced in the black community, but it's a growing problem in all ethnic groups in the U.S. According to Pew Research Center, “at 23%, the U.S. has the highest percentage of children that live without a father than any country in the world - 3x."
This award serves as a resource for pastors, priests, and religious leaders to tackle the nationwide epidemic of fatherless homes. This year, we're expanding its reach to our Tennessee chapter, where we've partnered with 15 local churches to honor fathers who embody strong, positive leadership in their families and communities.
We believe that celebrating the men who embody the principles found in the "Man Code" by Mark Henry will help ignite a spark in our communities that will lead to radical change and help us address the fatherless home crisis in America.
