USPS UPDATE: Did you hear? A bipartisan group of 26 U.S. Senators are demanding USPS Postmaster General Louis DeJoy “improve service immediately” after significant failures in mail delivery, financial losses, and more have occurred since DeJoy began implementing his 10-year plan.
This comes as no surprise – DeJoy’s 10-year plan is set to incur a projected $65 billion in losses over the next decade, while quality in mail delivery is declining rapidly. Despite promises that his plan would save the USPS, it’s destroying it.

We need to know where our supporters stand on DeJoy’s disastrous leadership of the Postal Service, so please tell us now:

Do YOU believe Postmaster General Louis DeJoy should be fired?

Team, let’s take a look at how we got here:
FIRST: Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy enacted a 10-year plan that has slowed mail delivery, closed post offices, cut more than 50,000 jobs, and raised the price of stamps five times – 36% since 2019! And the USPS has already lost $3.8 billion in 2024.
THEN: U.S. Senators and the Postal Regulatory Commission became fed up with the chronic conditions plaguing the USPS under DeJoy – so much so that Senators held a hearing to investigate its abysmal performance. During the hearing, lawmakers voiced their biggest concerns: including that DeJoy’s failures could disrupt mail-in ballot voting in November’s elections!
NOW: Despite a contentious Senate hearing where Sen. Jon Ossoff told DeJoy, “I don’t think you’re fit for this job,” a recent USPS Board of Governors meeting where members expressed concerns over mail delivery delays, and a letter from 26 bipartisan Senators demanding improved USPS service, Louis DeJoy STILL hasn’t been held accountable for his ongoing destruction of the USPS.
If Louis DeJoy stays in power, it all but ensures the destruction of an institution that American families – and American elections – depend on! That’s why we’re counting on you. Please be one of the 143 Democrats we need from the District of Columbia to complete this 1-click poll before the USPS Board of Governors meets again next month:
