Tell the Biden Adminstration to ensure access to comprehensive obesity care in Medicare!

John,

Your support means everything to us, and we need your backing now more than ever. It's time to demand better access to care for people living with obesity. Together, let's urge the Biden Administration to take action. We need Medicare to cover obesity medications under Part D and to increase the number of qualified providers offering intensive behavioral therapy (IBT) under Part B.

In recent years, there have been great strides to develop new treatments for obesity. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved new medications that can be used long-term to manage weight. These treatments show great progress in managing obesity as a serious, complex disease. However, the federal government still follows old rules that stop Medicare from covering these medications. Also, IBT has proven to be effective in helping people learn to control their weight through better habits, like eating right and staying active.

Your voice matters. By urging the Biden Administration to cover obesity medications under Medicare Part D and to expand the availability of IBT providers, we can ensure that all individuals affected by obesity receive the comprehensive care they deserve.

Thank you for being a champion in our fight for access to comprehensive obesity care.
