EMILYs List has endorsed pro-choice champions in five swing states that need these leaders in office more than ever.
Since Donald Trump won Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania in 2016 and lost all three in 2020, all eyes are on these three quintessential midwest swing states in 2024. Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI) and Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-SEN) are running to protect two critical U.S. Senate seats. Reps. Hillary Scholten (MI-03) and Susan Wild (PA-07) are fighting to hold their seats in two of the toughest House races in the country, while Ashley Ehasz (PA-01) and Janelle Stelson (PA-10) are working hard to flip Republican-held seats in swing districts.
Nevada is similarly swingy. In 2022, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (NV) won reelection in Nevada by less than one percent while Republicans flipped the governor's seat — also by a tiny margin. Sen. Jacky Rosen's (NV) reelection race will come down to the wire — as will the races of Reps. Dina Titus (NV-01) and Susie Lee (NV-03) — but with our support, I'm confident they can win.
This cycle, Florida is even more competitive than we expected. As a result of Republicans' concerted efforts to ban abortion and limit access to reproductive health care, Debbie Murcarsel Powell (FL-SEN) and Lucia Báez-Geller (FL-27) have a real shot to flip Republican-held seats and secure both Congressional majorities for Democrats.
The 2024 elections will determine abortion access for millions of Americans. Donate now toward our Swing State Flash Fund to help elect incredible Democratic pro-choice women in must-win swing state races:
Thank you,
Ben Ray (he/him/his)
