We're hanging tough.

In the face of Donald Trump's determination to spread
authoritarianism and plutocracy in America, Democrats have
been shutting down the most depraved proposals coming from
the White House and the GOP.

We stopped them cold when they wanted to throw 24 million
people off their ACA health insurance, decimate and
block-grant Medicaid, and transfer $800 million up the
wealth ladder.

We took to the airports by the tens of thousands to welcome
the refugees and immigrants targeted by Trump's first
unconstitutional immigration executive order, and we made
sure that federal courts across the land enjoined
enforcement of these lawless Muslim ban orders.

We have kept the heat on the Russian connection, and we've
seen General Michael Flynn resign and Attorney General Jeff
Sessions recuse himself -- but we haven't been able to block
everything.

They passed legislation that restricts the EPA from basing
its decisions on science, and they blew up two centuries of
precedent to ram through a justice that couldn't get support
from 60 senators. They're trashing access to the courts and
tearing apart the possibility of class action lawsuits. They
even voted to let your internet service provider sell your
browser history without your permission.

There's no alternative but to mobilize even stronger popular
resistance. What Trump and the GOP have been doing is a call
to action for us all -- and you've responded in force.

You've marched, protested, called, tweeted, and showed up in
force at town halls. But, ultimately, we need to make sure
that we're replacing slippery Republicans in Congress with
strong Democrats who will fight for our values and
priorities. And that means we need to translate the energy
of the resistance into concrete victories at the polls,
starting with upcoming special elections in Georgia and Montana.

So let's make it happen. Pitch in $3 or whatever you can to
help elect Democrats this year and beyond:
