George Weigel invested with the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland
The Ethics and Public Policy Center is pleased to announce that Distinguished Senior Fellow George Weigel, who holds EPPC’s William E. Simon Chair in Catholic Studies, was invested with the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland by President Andrzej Duda at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw on May 13.
The Ethics and Public Policy Center is excited to present our 2023 annual report. As you’ll see, EPPC is flourishing, and our efforts to bring about renewal in American public life are bearing good fruit.
Applications are now open for the 2024–2025 Richard John Neuhaus Fellowship, a graduate-level program in Washington, D.C., for those working in government, journalism, think tanks, or other policy-relevant institutions, which explores the Judeo-Christian tradition and its role in shaping public policy and the mediating institutions of civil society.
On May 18, Mary will present on a panel, "Gender dysphoria in minors: an ethical issue?" in Rome at the Second International Bioethics Conference, "Jérôme Lejeune and the challenges of Bioethics in the 21st century."
