Last week both the House and Senate passed H.F. 4109 to re-establish protections for religious entities in the Minnesota Human Rights Act. (MHRA) Minnesota has a long-standing tradition of respecting religious freedom. Last year Democrats had stripped these protections for faith-based organizations putting their fundamental rights at risk.

We need your help to ensure that religious organizations can continue to operate according to their faith traditions without interference. 

What You Can Do: 

Contact Governor Tim Walz: Let him know that you support religious freedom and urge him to sign HF 4109 into law. This bipartisan legislation restores protections for religious organizations, allowing them to hire staff who align with their faith beliefs. 

1. Use the Contact Form: Visit the Office of Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan website and complete the contact form. Share your message advocating for religious liberty. 
2. Call the Governor’s Office: Dial 651-201-3400 (Toll-Free: 800-657-3717) and express your support for H.F. 4109. Let them know that Minnesotans value religious freedom and want it preserved. 
3. Spread the Word: Encourage your friends, family, and community members to join this effort. Share this call to action on social media and raise awareness about the importance of religious liberty.
