Ad revenue has been in decline for more than a decade, and Big Tech companies like Amazon, Facebook and Google are gobbling up what remains. There is one big bit of bad news here, though: our existence has never been more endangered than at this moment. No news organization, whether it is print, digital, public, award-winning, niche, or general interest, has been able to escape the financial hardships that have plagued the industry—this includes Daily Kos.
