The sun is shining, and we’re basking in the sunlight AND all of the pro-abortion badassery we get to be a part of! In the last two weeks, we hosted THE incredible Elie Mystal for a very special conversation about abortion, connected with Philly at the ’No One Asked You’ screening at the Philadelphia Independent Film Fest , and our founder Lizz Winstead and Board Member Joyelle Johnson emceed the Champions for Choice Luncheon for one of our favorite impactful orgs, National Institute for Reproductive Health Action Fund (NIRHAction) ! Tired? Nah…we’re ENERGIZED! This is the best community.

MISSOURI: MORE LIKE MISERY, AMIRITE?
You’d think that, having banned all abortions already, Missouri electeds would, idk, find a better hobby than blocking Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthoods [[link removed]] , yet here we are! Y’all- THEY AREN’T EVEN DOING ABORTIONS ANYMORE, they’re literally just removing necessary healthcare options to be even more evil? Is this not obvious to anyone else??

KANSAS POLITICIANS: VOTERS SAID WHAT NOW?
ABORTION IS A WINNING ISSUE- have we said that enough yet? Clearly not in Kansas, where lawmakers recently passed several anti-abortion measures [[link removed]] , despite Kansans overwhelmingly rejecting a proposed constitutional amendment that would have enabled lawmakers to ban abortion in 2022. It’s almost like…they don’t actually care what their citizens want, and are going to push their own extremist agenda no matter what. Imagine that.
