Dear friend,

Two weeks ago, Congress passed The CARES Act – providing a critical lifeline for small businesses across America impacted by COVID-19. The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) within the bill is providing forgivable loans to businesses that retain or rehire their employees… and is the reason why many people are still able to continue to pay their rents or mortgages, and feed their families.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer almost derailed this initial effort. They tried to sneak in a Liberal wish list of funding for abortions and Green New Deal provisions. Fortunately, Republicans were able to stop them… getting the job done and expediting relief to Americans.

Now, Chuck and Nancy are at it again.

The PPP is working and we need to allocate more money to support businesses, but Democrats are blocking the aid.

Democrats are again exploiting the pain and suffering of millions of Americans to benefit their own partisan agenda. It’s almost like they WANT small businesses to fail.

We can’t let them do that. Led by Schumer, Democrats blocked the Senate from approving an additional $250 billion for the program, which will run out of money by Monday. 

Friend, we need to send a strong message to Chuck and Nancy to put Americans – not politics – first right now. Will you add your name to this petition so Senator Cornyn can show how important this is to Americans? 
 
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and our workers need to keep their jobs. We need to replenish the PPP loan program so there are workplaces to return to when this pandemic ends.
