It’s hard to believe but we’re less than six months away from Election Day, and early next month, New Mexico will hold its primary elections.
That’s why today I want to direct your attention to an important Senate race in the state. My friend Martin Heinrich is up for re-election, and he needs our help. Will you split a contribution between his campaign and mine? [[link removed]]

I’ve worked closely with Martin in the Senate to advance climate action. We even dubbed ourselves -- along with Sheldon Whitehouse -- “the three climateers.” For years, we’ve been unified in our efforts to invest in clean energy, reduce emissions, and address climate change. Without Martin’s leadership, we wouldn’t have been able to pass the Inflation Reduction Act -- the biggest climate bill in U.S. history. (Fun fact: Martin built a solar car in college and drove it across the country!)
Of course, climate isn’t the only thing Martin tackles in the Senate. He’s also a champion for affordable housing and putting homeownership within reach for more New Mexicans and improving access to affordable health care.
There are a couple of Republican candidates vying for Martin’s seat, and with 23 Democrat-held Senate seats on the ballot this year, we can’t afford to lose any ground -- including in New Mexico.
Martin is exactly the kind of leader we need in the Senate fighting for us, but he needs our help to bring home a win come November. Please split any amount you can between Martin’s campaign and mine before the end of the day. [[link removed]]
