The Washington Post : "Trump seeks $1 billion from oil CEOs…"

Donald Trump is asking big oil CEOs for $1 billion for his campaign in exchange for him rolling back environmental legislation if he wins in November. This is disgusting.

Since day one, Donald Trump has been all too ready to betray this country in favor of his MAGA agenda — he can't be allowed to set foot in the White House in November. If you're ready to help support Chris as he works to re-elect President Joe Biden, rush a donation now >> [link removed]

John,

On day one, President Biden made combating climate change one of the main priorities of his presidency. On the other hand, Donald Trump just showed that he would literally sacrifice progress in the name of a campaign donation.

In an article from The Washington Post, Donald Trump's recent conversations with CEOs of big oil companies came to light. Not only did he outright ask for $1 billion in donations to support his presidential campaign, but he offered to support these oil companies by rolling back President Biden's critical protections for the environment.

This egregious display of corruption and disregard for our planet's well-being is despicable. If he wins in November, all the progress we've made and the future of our planet will be in danger. That means President Biden’s work to protect our public lands and waters, strengthen pollution standards, invest in clean energy manufacturing and more could be gone.

As co-chair of the Biden campaign, Chris is leading the charge to make sure Donald Trump stays where he needs to be — golfing at Mar-A-Lago and far away from environmental legislation.

If you're ready to re-elect President Biden and secure another four years of a president who will bring our country towards a greener future, make a donation to support Chris and his work as co-chair today. Together, we can keep the White House and the Senate blue >> [link removed]
