John, last night, it was my honor to accept the Democratic nomination for Connecticut’s 5th congressional district on the November ballot.

Serving as your representative in Congress is a responsibility that I do not take lightly. Particularly in such politically polarizing times, I have always led with a firm commitment to my values while being willing to work in a bipartisan manner to affect real, positive change and always to listen.

There are powerful special interests in this country who wish to replace me with a rubber stamp for the MAGA agenda in my opponent George Logan. Just days before our district convention, the Koch brothers-affiliated group Americans for Prosperity began running negative advertising against me in our district.

CT-05 was decided by less than three-quarters of a percent in 2022 — just 1,842 votes total, and far-right special interests are already working to flip it red. This will be one of the closest races in the country, and we need to build the infrastructure now to sustain our campaign. John, will you commit today to making a $3 monthly recurring donation through November?

Monthly donations are the most impactful form of support our campaign receives — allowing us to hire and train staff and volunteers, invest in voter contact, and do the hard work of turning out voters in November.
