Hi John,

Team Scholten here, we just wanted to remind you that our fundraising deadline is tonight at midnight. We are SO close to our goal of 37 donors before the disclosure deadline and we only need 7 more grassroots donations to reach our goal. Reaching our goal is how we'll power our campaign — printing signs and campaign lit, texting and calling our community, and organizing our grassroots movement.

Can you chip in $11 today and help us reach our goal?

CHIP IN NOW!

After midnight, we will have to send our fundraising disclosures to the state and tell them exactly how much we raised. But here's why that matters: The far-right extremists who are supporting our opponent will be looking to see how much grassroots support our campaign has and will try to figure out if they can beat us in November.

We need to show Governor Reynolds and her allies that we're ready to fight for our rights and for hard-working Iowans. So let's raise the money to start printing campaign lit, to begin knocking on doors, and to show the extremist conservatives that we're here to fight for Iowans. Can we count on you?

Stand Tall for All,

Team Scholten

John,

We are about to start door-knocking, but we're missing one thing:

Campaign Lit!

Our fundraising deadline is in 3 days and our goal is 37 grassroots donors before the deadline. I just checked this morning and we've seen 21 donations come in since May first. Amazing! But that means we are still 16 donations away. Can you chip in $17 today and help us reach our goal so we can print our campaign literature and start knocking doors?

Campaigning is time-intensive and expensive. Printing costs alone are going to eat into a big part of the budget, but it is one of our most important campaigning tools because that is how we really connect with new voters.

When you are out walking around a neighborhood, knocking on doors, and sharing why you are a part of this campaign, what you need is something to hand the voter. I wish I had the time and skill to make thousands of cookies with my face on them (that would just be more fun and delicious), but printed campaign literature is the next best thing!

That's me knocking doors on election day in 2022.

These are the materials that people can read after we leave the doorstep. A reminder of what we stand for and why we are fighting for Iowans. This is the next big step in our reelection campaign and I hope you will be a part of it. So, if you are committed to joining the fight for a better Iowa and electing more Democrats in Iowa, then chip in today and let's start knocking doors.

Stand Tall for All,

J.D.
