John, consider this Election Night scenario:
After the polls close and major media networks begin reporting the initial results, Donald Trump is ahead in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada — the states that MAGA Republicans voted against certifying on January 6, 2021.
Additionally, Adam's running against a MAGA Republican in California, and more than a half-dozen GOP-held House seats across California hold the balance of power for the majority.
Knowing that map would provide Trump not only with enough states to give him the Electoral College victory over President Biden but also the House and Senate majorities, Trump’s campaign appeals to the Supreme Court to stop the counting of mail ballots — fearing that counting every ballot fairly would produce the same outcome that resulted in Joe Biden’s victory in 2020.
That would be a recipe for total chaos — which is why we need to do everything we can right now to win what is sure to be an extremely close election.
Before tomorrow’s mid-quarter fundraising deadline, will you contribute $3 to Adam’s campaign to help defeat Trump, defend our Senate majority, and flip the House of Representatives by electing Democrats down the ballot across California? These elections will have razor-thin margins, and your $3 donation could make the difference.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
There were more House races decided by less than a percentage point in 2022 than the size of the Republicans’ current House majority.
These online donations are a critical component of our campaign plan to turn out voters. With margins this close, increasing turnout by even 1-2% among grassroots Democrats in California could be the difference in this election — and that’s what Adam is trying to do with this grassroots campaign.
John, chip in $3 before our mid-quarter fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight.
The United States of America has never confronted the authoritarian challenge to our democracy posed by a former president who incited a violent insurrection and is now running for the presidency.
To underestimate his ability to win would be a grave mistake. Your support has never been more critical than it is from now through Election Day.
