Did You Know May 17 Is National Bike to Work Day?
Do you know someone who bikes to work, or possibly even do it yourself? Would you be surprised to learn that in 2022, only 0.5% of workers 16 and over biked to work?
Our middle school Statistics in Schools activity, Two-Way Tables ? Walking and Bicycling to Work, has students explore data on how men and women in two cities used nonmotorized transportation to get to work. Then, they will calculate frequencies from data in two-way tables.

You can even use our State Facts for Students tool to discover the percentage of people who biked to work in your state and how it compares to the national percentage!
