I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
Only citizens should vote in American elections
Secure elections are a key cornerstone for any representative government; without them, we won't have a country. Radical progressive Democrats know this and are using open border policies while also attacking election integrity laws to fundamentally remake America.
That's why I am proud to introduce the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act with Speaker Johnson and my Republican colleagues. The SAVE Act would thwart Democrat efforts to cement one-party rule by upholding and strengthening current law that permits only U.S. citizens to vote in Federal elections by requiring documentary proof of citizenship to vote.
Let’s get this bill passed.
My fight for San Antonio
San Antonio is the 7th largest US city and home to top military bases, but current federal law prevents nonstop flights to Washington, D.C.. For the past year, I have fought relentlessly to change this. From committee hearings to floor debates, I have pushed my colleagues to overturn the outdated, bureaucratic rules limiting the number of flights to our capitol.
The Senate just passed a bill that makes a nonstop flight from Reagan National to San Antonio possible. Let’s get this passed in the House this week.
Demanding sanctions on ICC officials going after US & Israel
The International Criminal Court (ICC) is an illegitimate court that represents a massive threat to US sovereignty. The Trump administration was right to impose sanctions on the associates of the ICC if they dare go after US citizens, servicemembers, or our allies; President Biden's decision to reverse that policy was weak, embarrassing, and wrong.
Now reports indicate the ICC is poised to issue arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and other high-ranking Israeli officials. America's policy should be unquestionably clear: if the ICC goes after our allies, there will be consequences. I am proud to lead the effort with Representative Brian Mast and others to correct Biden’s error and reimpose sanctions on associates of the ICC.
