As Catholics around the world celebrate this holiest of weeks, we mourn the inability to gather with our brothers and sisters in Christ to celebrate. The world largely sits unusually hallow, as we collectively try to reconcile our lives from just a few weeks ago with our lives now.  The uncertainty of what lies ahead dominates much of our thoughts and prayer life.

Yet, as a Church, we hold on what truly endures - the love of Christ.  Though we might not gather in parishes and cathedrals around the world on Sunday, we are comforted by the knowledge that Christ dwells with us and within us. No matter what we encounter, God is faithful and we should take comfort in our Lord and Savior, His endless grace and mercies, and His unyielding love.

We pray that you'll take part in Masses online this Triduum, and that you continue to support your parishes and brothers and sisters in Christ.

May you have a blessed Easter.

I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.
-John 16:33

From the open heart of the Crucified one, God's love reaches each one of us. Let us allow His gaze to rest on us. We will understand that we are not alone, but loved, for the Lord does not abandon us and He never, ever forgets us. #GeneralAudience

Pope France's Prayer to Mary During the Coronavirus Pandemic

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus' pain, keeping your faith firm.

You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
