I’m sorry I’m emailing you so late 😅 My days the last few weeks have been a lot of early mornings and late nights.

I want to be honest with you, I’m worried about our election. Being outspent by a super PAC that shares a donor list with Donald Trump means we’re up against people who don’t like it when the candidates they donate to lose.

I mean, remember what happened the last time Trump lost?

But I’m no stranger to “tough.”

I played football through college. I’m a single father. I was a Capitol police officer.

I used my own two hands to protect our democracy on January 6 — probably one of the toughest things I’ve ever done.
