Today kicks off National Police Week, a time to say thank you to our law enforcement officers and their families.

I started my own career in law enforcement with the Atlanta Police Department. I joined as a beat cop. Eventually, I became the chief of police for Doraville.

Throughout my career in law enforcement, I served with some of the best LEOs Georgia has to offer. 

These heroes risk it all to keep communities and families safe every single day, and they deserve our thanks. 

I’ll always support our LEOs and first responders. And I hope you’ll join me in thanking them, too.
