This Saturday, May 18, thousands will gather outside the State Capitol in Salem for one of the biggest pro-life events of the year: The Oregon March for Life [[link removed]].

We’ll share the joy of the pro-life movement and make our voices heard on behalf of the unborn.

We’re excited to march with you and listen to the inspiring talks by our amazing speakers, including Portland Archbishop Alexander Sample.

Archbishop Sample was appointed to lead the Archdiocese of Portland in 2013 by Pope Benedict XVI. He is a beloved spiritual father and a fearless and eloquent advocate for the unborn.

You might remember that he joined us to celebrate the overturning of Roe v. Wade [[link removed]] at last year’s March, urging us to redouble our efforts to secure protections for the unborn here in Oregon.

This year, he’ll return with another powerful opening prayer and a rousing address.

And Sample is in great company.

We’re also excited to hear from former Senate leader Sen. Tim Knopp (R-Bend) a resolute pro-life advocate who represents Bend, Oregon, and we’re thrilled to welcome Rebecca Lang [[link removed]], who leads The Pro-Life Student Alliance at Oregon State University.

Marchers will also hear from dedicated leaders within Oregon Right to Life, and Dr. Donald Grafton, vice president of Academic Affairs for New Hope Christian College, will lead us in a closing prayer.
