Thankfully, Planned Parenthood and the ACLU have filed a lawsuit to stop this despicable attempt, but that won't be enough to protect our rights long-term.

Mitch McConnell and Joni Ernst are working to overturn Roe V. Wade and are standing in the way of reproductive freedom by stacking our courts with anti-choice judges. This only truly stops when we stop their takeover of the courts.

We've been fighting this fight for generations, and instead of admitting defeat and supporting the right of every individual to control their own reproductive future, anti-choice Republican lawmakers are adamant to take them away.

When they're not outright banning abortion, they're creating dangerous rules to restrict access, cutting funding and outlawing clinics, or inserting themselves in exam rooms and telling doctors how to do their jobs. And now they're using a global health crisis to stop people from accessing abortion care.

This needs to stop. And the only way to stop them is to vote out anti-choice politicians and pass bold, extensive protections at the federal level. But Joni Ernst won't support that, so we need to defeat her.
