Take a look at these pictures of March For Our Lives students on New York State’s lobby day for gun violence prevention policy, John:
Students met with their elected officials to talk about what comprehensive changes we have the power to make in the New York state legislature right now. New York has two key bills we’re supporting that will drastically strengthen safe storage laws in the state and increase resources for community justice intervention programs at schools.
This is how we make change, John. Showing up and putting pressure on politicians is how we get gun safety legislation passed. Our organizing work is the backbone of our movement.
