TDI proposes rule about notices for terminating insurance policies

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) proposes a rule defining "termination" to include nonrenewals and discontinuations, to implement House Bill 1040. HB 1040 requires notices to be sent both electronically and nonelectronically when a policy is cancelled or terminated and the parties are doing business electronically.
