John,
As a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the 2018 Parkland massacre changed my life.
In the wake of the tragedy, I knew I had to take action. My fellow students and I turned to activism, joining the fight to pass comprehensive gun safety reforms and organizing March For Our Lives to mobilize millions of young people like us.
One of our earliest allies in this movement was Lucy McBath. She was there to provide guidance, comfort, and a listening ear. While many folks cautioned her against running for Congress in a red-to-blue district on a gun-safety platform, Lucy stood by her principles – and won.
But now, she’s facing a new challenge after the Georgia GOP tried to gerrymander her out of Congress. Lucy McBath is running in a brand-new district and is facing two challengers in her upcoming primary on May 21st. Can you chip in to make sure she makes it back to Congress for another term so she can keep up her advocacy on issues that matter?

Lucy knows what it’s like to lose a loved one to gun violence. Her son, Jordan, was senselessly shot and killed at a gas station in 2012 – just because a man with a gun didn’t like the music he was playing.
However, she turned her pain into purpose. Lucy dedicated her career to fighting to end the epidemic of gun violence. This fight has led her all the way to Washington DC, and now she needs our help to make sure she stays there.
Lucy’s primary election is right around the corner, and we can’t let the GOP succeed in using partisan gerrymandering to redraw her out of her seat. Your grassroots support will go a long way in making sure she can run a successful campaign ahead of Election Day.
Thanks,
David Hogg
