John,
Before becoming a U.S. Senator, Rick Scott “oversaw the largest Medicare fraud in the nation’s history.”[1]
He’s compared the American people’s love of Social Security to “alcoholism.”[2]
And, as Chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2022, Scott unveiled a plan to “sunset” Social Security and Medicare within 5 years.[3]
Rick Scott is a danger to our earned benefits. Thankfully, Floridians have a choice in this election.
Split a donation between Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s campaign for U.S. Senate and Social Security Works to help defeat Rick Scott and send a Social Security champion to the U.S. Senate.

Thank you for fighting for the future of our earned benefits.

John,
A few years ago, Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) unveiled an agenda that Mitch McConnell (of all people!) accurately described as a plan to “sunset Medicare or Social Security” within 5 years.[1]
Now, Scott is up for re-election and we have the chance to replace him with a Social Security champion: Former Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell. During her time in Congress she had a 100% score in fighting for older Americans.[2]
Compare that to Rick Scott’s plan to DESTROY Social Security and Medicare and the decision for seniors is clear. Now we need help to deliver that message to Florida voters!
Rick Scott wants to sunset Social Security and Medicare — let’s sunset him instead! Split a donation today between Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s campaign for U.S. Senate and Social Security Works to help defeat Rick Scott and send a Social Security champion to Washington, D.C.
Even before becoming a Senator, Rick Scott saw our earned benefits as a piggy bank for corporations. As CEO of Columbia/HCA hospitals, Rick Scott oversaw what the Justice Department later called the “largest health care fraud case in U.S. history”, with Scott’s company paying $1.7 billion in penalties to the federal government for defrauding Medicare.[3]
Now, Rick Scott is comparing his Medicare fraud case from decades ago to Donald Trump’s hush money case involving adult film star Stormy Daniels.[4] He’s right — they’re both crooks!
It’s time for Florida voters to hold Rick Scott accountable for his constant attacks on our earned benefits. Donate today to help send Social Security champion Debbie Mucarsel-Powell to the U.S. Senate to fight for us and send Rick Scott packing.

Which party controls the U.S. Senate hangs in the balance, and with it our agenda of protecting and expanding Social Security.
Thanks,
