LACoFD FIRE FIGHTER TRAINEE LISTENING INFORMATIONAL SEMINARS
?
*Los Angeles, CA ?* On Monday, April 15, 2024, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department (LACoFD) began accepting applications for a priority Fire Fighter Trainee recruitment.? This exam will assist the LACoFD in filling critical fire fighter vacancies to sustain the necessary level of emergency staffing in the communities we serve and will remain open until the needs of the Department are met.?
As we continue to actively recruit new members to join our dedicated and talented team of fire fighters, LACoFD?s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) and Examination Section are hosting a series of Listening Informational Seminars designed to engage prospective applicants in a comprehensive overview of the firefighting profession, outlining the pathways to a career in fire safety. ?The seminars aim to equip candidates with the necessary tools and knowledge on how to prepare now along with the application and training processes.? An optional preparatory course sponsored by the Firefighter Candidate Testing Center is also available immediately following each Listening Informational Seminar.
These seminars underscore the LACoFD?s commitment to inclusivity and community engagement, providing an exceptional opportunity for all individuals aspiring to join this noble profession.? The LACoFD is dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce, and through public initiatives and educational programs we strive to ensure we mirror the rich diversity of the communities we protect.
