It feels like we’re back in 2020 when Trump would make headlines for saying something absolutely stupid every single day.
When he was in Michigan earlier this month for another campaign rally, he spread more and more lies. Trump claimed “everything’s bad” and “Biden [is] guilty of destroying our country.” That’s just straight bull sh*t and you and I know it.
What has me the most worried though is that Trump is spreading the same lies about Michigan’s election system as he did in 2020, saying our elections aren’t secure and Democrats “cheat like hell.”
The last time I checked, Republicans were the ones on trial for election fraud.
Trump and the entire Republican Party have their sights set on Michigan, which is why they keep coming back to spread their lies and are dumping money into our races.
We need to prepare right now to combat these MAGA lies and reach Michigan voters with the truth. We can’t let Trump lie, scare, and cheat his way to another four years in the White House while his MAGA enablers ride his coattails.
