Fundraising Strategies for your Action Coalition

Developing your case statement and fundraising strategies are important for the 2020 Nursing Innovations Fund. The COVID-19 crisis presents community challenges and offers unique opportunities for Action Coalitions to meet community needs that contribute to building a Culture of Health. In this webinar, we will address those challenges and opportunities, offer technical support to help you frame a persuasive case statement, consider different funding streams, and develop strategies for ongoing relationship-building with funders that will position Action Coalition applicants for more sustainable funding opportunities.

  • Alexia Green, RN, PhD, FAAN, professor of nursing and dean emeriti at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and consultant to the Center to Champion Nursing in America
  • Lisa J. Sundean, PhD, MHA, RN, assistant professor, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, University of Massachusetts Boston and consultant to the Center to Champion Nursing in America

  • Discuss unique environment created by COVID-19 crisis
  • Review resource materials available at the Campaign for Action website
  • Discuss purpose of case statements
  • Review worksheet for developing your case
  • Collaborate to answer core question: “What do we offer our donors?”
