Becoming an instructor for the international STOP THE BLEED® program is a decision that reflects the commitment to people's lives and safety. The experience acquired as a volunteer firefighter, paramedic and currently as a technical nursing graduate has given a unique perspective on the importance of quick and effective care in emergency situations. By teaching others how to control serious bleeding, you are empowering people with the knowledge and skills that can save lives at critical moments. Your role as an instructor is not only an extension of your calling to serve, but also an opportunity to inspire others to take courageous and prepared action. Every lesson taught has the potential to make a tangible difference in the world, equipping individuals of all ages and professions with the confidence to take action when it is needed most. The passion for teaching and the desire to make the world a safer place is the essence of my motivation as an instructor. Its impact is invaluable!
Training is at the heart of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and STOP THE BLEED® Instructors are the ones that make the heart beat! The Instructor Spotlight shines a bright light on individuals engaging their communities about STOP THE BLEED®.

Hemorrhage is the main cause of death in traffic accidents and this produces approximately a third of deaths due to exsanguinating hemorrhage, for this reason we must encourage the practice of STOP THE BLEED® and treat patients in a matter of minutes so that they do not bleed to death. We must bring the STOP THE BLEED® program to all communities. (translated from Spanish)
