Dear John,
Keeping our community, our residents and local businesses safe is one of my top priorities. I'm proud to announce that I have secured nearly $2 million for projects across the Inland Empire to support our law enforcement and make our streets and roads safer.

I'm proud to have secured $1 million for the City of Rancho Cucamonga for their Advanced Traffic Management System. This project installs new traffic cameras and over 60 traffic signals that will flow into the local Traffic Management Center.
Not only will a better traffic management system reduce the number of accidents, but folks can also spend less time on the road and save on gas.
|
Additionally, the City of San Bernardino received $963,000 for new safety cameras in our community. This will support our local law enforcement and help keep our residents and small businesses safe.
By relieving the burden that our local law enforcement faces, they will have more resources to address crime, and respond quickly to life-threatening emergencies.

I am so proud to have helped deliver funding for both of these projects, and I will continue working in Washington to bring home more federal dollars to make our community safer and stronger.
Thanks,
Pete Aguilar
Member of Congress
