Oxfam Ireland has partnered with Friends of the Earth and Concern to host the following climate decision-making workshops, in the lead up to the Local and EU elections.
Join us on: Wednesday 15 May 7pm – 8:30pm
Deepening young people’s understanding of how local councils and the European Parliament works and how decisions get made
Exploring some of the different climate decisions that get made at local and EU levels
Opportunity for young people to connect with one another and share their concerns in the lead up to local and EU elections
Tuesday 21 May 7pm – 8:30pm
Exploring climate-related decisions that directly affect youth and future generations of young people
Exploring opportunities for taking action to bring youth voices and concerns to the attention of local and EU decision-makers

Participants will LEARN about climate decision-making at local and EU levels, CONNECT with other young people who care about these issues, and get key opportunities to TAKE ACTION in the lead-up to the elections.
