Eugene Vindman for Congress

Tweet from Eugene Vindman: 'The general election has been set. Donald Trump will be on the ballot, without Nikki Haley’s support. We have a real opportunity to now unite against extremism, keep Virginia’s 7th blue, and flip the House to effectuate positive change for all Virginians. Let’s do this!'

John — As if there was any doubt, we now know with 100% certainty that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.

It should make this election choice pretty clear.

It’s Donald Trump and the far-right who deny elections and attack the right to vote vs. those of us who will defend our democracy at every turn.

It’s the GOP’s extreme anti-abortion agenda vs. Democrats’ commitment to ensuring the right to an abortion in every state in this country.

It’s the NRA and their bought-and-sold politicians vs. our movement for gun violence prevention and an end to the NRA’s rule over gun policy.

It’s those who fight for more fossil fuels and handouts for corporate polluters vs. those who fight for continued progress on green energy and securing our planet’s future.

Put simply: this is an election where the choice is between going backwards and going forward.

We choose forward. We hope you do too.
