Have you ever bought airline tickets, concert tickets, or made a hotel booking and noticed undisclosed fees tacked on to your bill? When paying utility bills or rent, have surprise fees ever popped up on your receipt? These are junk fees. Through junk fees, greedy corporations are fleecing consumers of millions of dollars.

House Republicans recently expressed SUPPORT for these surprise credit card junk fees -- an abusive and deceptive business practices that President Biden and Democrats have been working to push to the center of the 2024 conversation.

In a committee hearing this week, Republican congressman Andy Barr of Kentucky said: "The vast majority of Americans agree that [junk fees] are legitimate. They don't think they're junk." That's a straight up lie. Polls show 9 in 10 voters oppose these abusive fees.
