These times of social-distancing are challenging ones for all of us. While we manage through the isolation and uncertainty, this time apart has given me a renewed appreciation for the power of partnership — a power that I witness every day through the remarkable efforts of our Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Action Network.

As you know, a significant part of the Clinton Foundation’s work is collaborating with strategic partners to develop and implement programs that create economic opportunity, improve public health, and inspire civic engagement and service. In recent weeks, CGI’s network of partners has mobilized in unprecedented ways to support the immediate response and recovery of those affected by COVID-19.

For example, Direct Relief, is working with public health authorities to provide personal protective equipment and medical supplies to health workers. MUTINY Island Vodka is using its distilleries to produce hand sanitizer that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. And World Central Kitchen and others are working tirelessly to safely distribute fresh meals in communities that need support.
