On Mother's Day, the three of us wanted to write to you about why we're so proud of our mom and supporting her 100% in her race to defeat Rick Scott and become Florida's next U.S. senator.

Mami has never not had a lot on her plate. After all, she's somebody who worked at a doughnut shop when she was our age to help support her immigrant family. 

On top of serving in Congress and now running a battleground Senate race — in addition to giving love and attention to our family's two dogs and bunny — she never loses sight of us. She's always in our corner, being a #1 mom and fighting for each of us to have every opportunity to succeed. She’s at every school event, and will always drop everything when we need to Facetime her for advice.

The same love, drive, and devotion that Mom gives us, she brings to the campaign trail. It's what she brought to her service in Congress. It's what she'll bring for all of Florida as our next U.S. senator. We’ve watched her give voters across our state the same care and compassion she shows us.

But every generation knows that Mom's opponent, Rick Scott, is once again going to spend tens of millions of dollars of his own money to buy this Senate seat. Unlike our mom, he always puts himself first. It's why we have a special ask of you, for our mom, on Mother's Day:
